Who is Barnet Carers?
Barnet Carers Centre was established in February 1996 as part of the network of The Princess Royal Trust for Carers. The Centre offers advice, information, emotional and practical support for all informal carers who live or work in the London Borough of Barnet.
What was required?
The main aim of the project was to create a pleasant website to portray the company portfolio in a right manner. It was also required that the visitors to the website should immediately feel connected to Barnet Carers and their cause once the visit their website.
What functionality did the site need?
Primarily, a Joomla based Content Management System website was required with Multi-user site administration and additional features such as Testimonials, Forms, Services, Event Management, etc. As far as the interactivity is concerned,  automatic slide show on the home page itself was required to portray their company features and goals. For those who wanted to make donations, a payment gateway platform for the “Donate Now†Feature on the home page was included.

As a professional web design agency, it was very important to understand the requirements, core activities that Barnet Carers are into, the kind of memberships that they have in order to help them in getting the right feel in their website and reach their target audience efficiently. This meant a couple of face to face meetings of our web designers at their office to get a full understanding in order to create the right brand image for them. We had to not only create a fresh web design, but also our own bespoke CMS so the website is as per the clients requirement, taking into consideration the online brand positioning strategy that they had in their mind.
